Georges Pompidou, founded the Centre Pompidou as a home for art, music, literature, and cultural expression. The fragmented geometric form of this skeleton pen‘s overlaid white gold lattice echoes the architecture of the center.
Transparent barrel and cap overlaid skeletonised 18K white gold, 18K white gold head ring, cap ring and cone adorn ten diamonds, 18K white gold clip crowned with a blue sapphire, recalls the exterior of the Paris cultural centre, mother of pearl Montblanc star grace the cap head.
5 5/8″ (14.4 cm). The 18K gold rhodium plated Extra Fine (EF) nib is engraved with an image of Pompidou.
Together with Montblanc fitted Black lacquered box, outer card, certificate, international reply card and instruction booklet.

On 15 June 1969, Georges Pompidou became President of the French Republic. In five years time, Pompidou pushed through the modernisation of France by pursuing visionary social and economic reforms. He also has a dream: to create a public institute in the heart of Paris, a hub to French modern art, literature, theatre and different forms of culture expression, which is the famous Centre of Pompidou on the Rue Beaubourg, Paris.
