MONTBLANC, Joan Miró 18k Gold Artisan Limited Edition 76.
With this writing instrument Montblanc pays hommage to Modernist artist Joan Miró, who became central to the coterie of greats that included Pablo Picasso, Ernest Hemingway and Henry Miller. Miró’s inventiveness inspired this pen’s surrealistic design, with deep blue lacquer banded with 18K solid gold rings.
The rings are set with diamonds, sapphires, rubies and emeralds, and the captop star is mother-of-pearl in a solid gold filigree.
Fine (F) 18K gold nib engraved with a star and Miró’s signature (very rare nib size for Artisan Edition).
Outer box, red lacquered wood display box (a slight crack is visible on one of the back corners), booklet.
